They are confidential, unless you or someone else is at risk of immediate harm. If you or someone in your family is at risk of immediate harm this would be classed as an emergency. Rehab4Addiction:

Rehab 4 Addiction is an advisory and referral service for people who suffer from alcohol, drug and behavioural addiction.

Rehab 4 Addiction works closely with rehabilitation centres and outpatient clinics throughout the United Kingdom, matching a patients’ addiction with an appropriately placed rehabilitation centre. They are able to offer rehabilitation centres patient referrals, and always prioritise the needs of the specific patient when doing so. They maintain a substantial network of rehabilitation centres throughout the United Kingdom.

If you need family support for children under 13, Health visitors, parenting advice or support, targetted youth support for your child over 13 or SCIP (1:1 support for families, solution based support). If you are not sure what support you need speak to them, they will advise.

Normal Magic - East Cornwall Primary Care Network

Normal Magic, a free mental health service for children and young people aged 0-18, is now available through the NHS East Cornwall Primary Care Network. This means if you're registered with one of the following GP surgeries, your family can access Normal Magic's services at no cost:

  • Oak Tree Surgery, Liskeard
  • Rosedean House Surgery, Liskeard
  • Quay Lane Surgery, St Germans
  • Port View, Saltash
  • Saltash Health Centre
  • Old Bridge Surgery, Looe
  • The Rame Group Practice, Torpoint and Millbrook

  • Easy access: No referral needed! Simply contact your GP surgery if you're registered with one of the listed practices, and they'll help you schedule an appointment.

Calm is an app for meditation and sleep. Designed to help lower stress, lessen anxiety, and assist in a more restful sleep with guided meditations, Sleep Stories, breathing programs, masterclasses and relaxing music.

Smiling Mind is a web and app-based program developed by psychologists and educators to help bring balance to people’s lives.

WellMind is a free NHS mental health and wellbeing app designed to help you with stress, anxiety and depression. The app includes advice, tips and tools to improve your mental health and boost your wellbeing.

MindShift uses strategies based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to help you learn to relax and be mindful, develop more effective ways of thinking, and use active steps to take charge of your anxiety.

NHS Weight Loss Plan. Develop healthier eating habits, be more active, and get on track to start losing weight with this NHS Choices 12-week diet and exercise plan.

Feely an app to track your feelings and receive scientific exercises and work on activities that help you feel happier.

Moods: Mental Health Tracking with an easy fast traffic light colour system to track moods.

Chill Panda is an app designed to help with anxiety, managing worries and improving wellbeing for primary school-aged children.

#selfcare  - Helps you practice some Self Care. Breathing slowly connects us to our body and gives us life. We can breathe for as long as we'd like. There's no hurry. There's no end. We breathe and we listen to ourselves. In this universe, our goal is simply to feel better. There's no winning, no failure, no score. No difficulty, no ads, no notifications. There is just us and our feelings.

Calm Harm  - provides tasks to help you resist or manage the urge to self-harm. You can set a password so that it's completely private

DistrACT - Concerned about self-harming? Feeling suicidal? Not sure what to do next? Then this app is for you.

The distrACT app provides easy, quick and discreet access to general health information and advice about self-harm.

Self-Heal - If you’re self-harming, finding anonymous support can be tough. Self-heal has been developed in collaboration with potential users, clinicians and researchers to produce a tool that lets you take charge of your behaviour.

Thinkuknow have created online safety support for parents during Covid-19 and the closure of schools.With content and activities available for all age groups from 4 years old, there are home activity packs available with simple 15 minute activities for parents and children to support their online safety at home, in a time where they may be spending more time online.
