Liskeard Sixth Form Students Take on Enterprise Challenge at the University of Plymouth

Liskeard Sixth Form Business students recently had the exciting opportunity to participate in an Enterprise Challenge at the University of Plymouth Business School. This event provided an invaluable experience, allowing students to apply their business knowledge in a real-world setting while developing key enterprise skills.
During the challenge, students worked in teams to create an innovative mobile food outlet concept. They conducted market research, identified their target audience, curated a menu, developed a pricing strategy, and designed a prototype before presenting their ideas to a panel of university academics.
Although our team did not secure the overall prize on this occasion, students showcased exceptional professionalism, creativity, and communication skills throughout the event. Notably, one of our students was recognised for delivering the Best Sales Pitch, a reflection of their outstanding presentation and persuasive skills.
This experience not only enhanced students’ understanding of business concepts but also developed their confidence and teamwork—key attributes for success in further education and future careers.
A huge well done to all involved! We look forward to seeing our students continue to excel in future enterprise opportunities.
