Exciting Announcements: Congratulations to Our New Prefects, Committee Members, and Monitors!

We are thrilled to announce the successful students who have been appointed to the following roles for the upcoming school year. These students have shown outstanding dedication and leadership potential, and we are excited to see the incredible work they will do in representing our school and making a positive impact on our school community.

Whole School Prefects:

The Whole School Prefects are students who will represent the school in a variety of important roles. These students will be involved in events such as Open Evenings, giving presentations to staff and students, working on key projects for the Head Teacher, collecting and presenting student feedback, attending School Council sessions, representing LSCC in the wider community, and delivering presentations during assemblies.

We are pleased to announce the following students as our new Whole School Prefects:

Their role will be supported by Staff Line Managers, Mr. Wendon and Mr. Downes, who will guide them throughout the year.

Committee Members:

Our Committee Members will take on the exciting task of organising some of our school’s most anticipated events. This includes organising the Prom, preparing the Year 11 Leavers' Book, coordinating Year 11 Hoodies, acting as representatives on the Year 11 School Council, and running the Year 11 Newsletter.

The Committee will be working closely with Staff Line Managers, Ms. Truscott and Ms. Chapman, to make these events a great success.

Monitors:

Our Monitors play an essential role in maintaining the smooth operation of our school on a day-to-day basis. These students will be responsible for monitoring lunch hall lines for Year 7, leading and organising the Year 8 Peer Mentor team, managing litter collection during lunchtimes, patrolling the Year 7 Yard, and running Quiet Club.
