ChatHealth - Enhancing Support for Young People and Parents in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly

Dear Parents and Carers,
We are excited to announce that Education and Community Health Cornwall has rolled out an enhanced support system for young people and parents/carers in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, effective from Monday, January 22, 2024. This initiative aims to provide a direct line of communication between Health Visitors and School Nurses, offering valuable assistance for the well-being of children and young people.
To help facilitate this improved support, ChatHealth Parent Line 5-19, a School Nursing messaging service specifically designed for parents and carers of children and young people aged 5–19 years, has been set-up. This service offers a convenient and confidential platform for individuals seeking health and well-being advice and support.
Parents and carers can now reach out via text to a dedicated number to receive confidential guidance on a range of health and well-being topics, ensuring that support is easily accessible.
