Business Studies Gets Hands-On at Trewithen Dairy!
On Wednesday 17th April, year 12 Business students visited Trewithen Dairy to explore how production facilities operate. The visit started with a tour of the production area. Students saw various operations within the facility, including raw product testing, storage, the production line, quality control and the distribution warehouse.
After the tour (and a slight break for some traditional Cornish cream teas!), students were given a presentation about the day-to-day work and tasks of different members of staff and how that links back to the course they are studying.
Throughout, the Trewithen staff were impressed by the insightful and thoughtful questions students asked, commenting on their enthusiasm for Business and Trewithen itself.
