Work Experience
Year 10 and 12 Work Experience Week runs over the last week of the Summer Term
At Liskeard School we undertake one week of work experience in the summer of year 10 and again in year 12. Work Experience is a valuable exercise in terms of the reality of the progression from full time education into employment. Students have the opportunity to participate in their chosen field of employment, this may be a career path they wish to follow, something they are interested in or simply the possibility of trying something new. It provides a valuable insight into the world of work, the structures involved and employability skills. Our work experience programme is supported by Cornwall Council.
