The pace of school life came to a solemn pause this morning as students and staff stood together to reflect and remember.

With Mr Bond playing the bugle, the powerful notes of the Last Post sounded. Students from the cadet forces and volunteer youth services provided a proud honour guard to the field of remembrance in the quad.

The rousing report of reveille broke the silence and Liskeard School returned slowly to the fervour of the educational day.
